Kanpur: Three more people, all Indian air tool personnel (IAF), were tested positive for the Zika virus in Kanpur, raising the fourth counting on Saturday.
“With three news cases, the calculation is now brought up four in the city.
A total of 260 IAF personnel samples have been sent to the Lucknow Kg Laboratory in the last few days,” said Kanpur Nagar District Judge Vishak G.
“The report we received on Saturday confirmed about three IAF personnel are positive for the Zika virus, “DM added.
The first case of a virus was also confirmed in IAF personnel on October 23.
“However, 22 people including family members, relatives and close contact from the first case tested negatively for the virus,” he said.
High warnings have been heard on the outskirts of the Hangar IAF in maintenance orders, in addition to civilian civilians including Pardewanpurwa and Pokharpur regions regarding mosquito default viruses.
To check the spread and trace of the Source of the Zika virus, 74 teams from the Ministry of Health on Friday has collected a sample of nearly 204 people, including 29 pregnant women and 85 air force personnel from all 11,493 households during the ongoing survey in Pardevanpurwa and Pokharpurwa locations in Chokeri Under the supervision of experts from Delhi and Lucknow.
Previously, on Thursday, the Ministry of Health had bought blood and urine samples from 175 Indian air force personnel and 76 civilians.
“All samples are sent to Kgmu Lucknow Lab for further testing for the Zika, Malaria and Dengue virus,” Dr.

The first patient of the Zika virus in the state was detected in the city after the Pune Laboratory on Saturday confirmed infection in the 57-year-old command officer from the Air Force station on October 23.
