Somanna openly expressed his desire to hold a city development portfolio following a report that it could be given to R Ashoka ahead of the BBMP poll.
Somanna also accused Ashoka to behave like “autocrat”.
“I have been in politics for more than four decades.
I also efficiently served as Minister of Bengaluru Inches in the past.
So, I am also a strong competitor for the portfolio.
I don’t mind if the minister’s head continues to keep the portfolio with him.
But if he wants to give it To others, I have asked him to consider my name, “Somanna said.
Somanna also digs in Ashoka because she did not attend the meeting she had made last week to discuss the implementation of a housing scheme in the city.
