Vaani about intimate scenes, dealing with trolls
Written by news2in

Vaani Kapoor has received good reviews for his appearance in the film recently ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’.
We were on Etimes following him to chat.
What do you think of Vaani Kapoor about the intimate scene in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’, ‘war’ and ‘BeFikre’? When will Vaani Kapoor hit again at Trolls? What should he say about the next film, ‘Shamshera’?
What is the challenge he faces while playing a trans woman in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’? How does it work with Abhishek Kapoor (Gattu, because he is liked in the industry)? See the video, this is an honest interview:

Quote:
You have a part of your struggle with your previous films.
What makes you leave? My confidence made me leave.
I will not take anything and all that comes in my way.
I decided to do a film that gave me excitement and peace.
I decided that I would work with the people I was happy.
I never wanted to compromise about it.
This is a brave role in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ where you play a trans woman.
Any worries before signing a role? No, I’m not worried.
I was fascinated by the script, it was very well designed.
Gattu (Director of Film, Abhishek Kapoor) is aesthetic.
He is a sensitive director.
Yes, it is a responsibility caused by yourself that I know will be challenging because I do not belong to the community.
But it is a story to be told.

Tell me about your homework …
I received a video call with a trans woman.
They share whatever they want to share from their lives – both, bad or ugly.
Gattu helped me reach them.
I also went through films and even documentaries were not only in English but also French.
I made crazy notes because I wanted to give a full role to the role.
Where do you think we stand in terms of our thinking process to the LGBT community? There are all kinds of people with different mindset – progressive and regressive.
But still, many people don’t know the difference between a eunuch and trans people.
There needs to be more inclusivity; We need to celebrate for who they are.
I even talked to many people who even had a transformation.
Greater evolution is needed.
‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ has tried to start a conversation.
Wonder why the community is shown as eccentric or like a joke.
It’s time for stigma and phobias attached to it.

Your film – ‘BeFikre’, ‘War’ and ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ has a fair part of the intimate scene …
The intimate scene in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ is included for a reason.
But note well, both in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aasahiqui’, or in ‘war’ and ‘BeFikre’ fair hardcore scene lovemaking.
But yes, the intimate scene is never easy to do.
Now for me, I need to trust the director.
I will not work with a director in such a case if I feel he is clever and I can’t believe it.
You have hit back on the troll …
I hit back when needed, every action doesn’t need to react.
It was done for my sanity.
Troll does not have personal hostility, but maybe they lack love in their lives.
All said and carried out, social media is waste that can breed a lot of hatred and negativity.
Why do I have to entertain people who are not for my welfare?

Aren’t you more calm? I’m not calmer (smile).
But yes, I would say that I was very lost but now I have received.
I have received that it’s okay for awkward and not so calm with a faltry nerve.
I think failure teaches you.
Failure is important because you begin to see life with a different lens.
I have a failure in my life and they have helped me be wiser.
