CHENNAI: AIADMK planner O Panneerselvam on Thursday urged Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin to make all attempts to stop the third tide of Covid-19.
He said individuals need to be made aware they are accountable for preventing the next wave.
“Vaccination is the only means to stop the next tide,” OPS stated in a declaration.
The former chief minister stated the greatest daily instances reported from the nation during the initial tide was first 97,000 while it climbed to 4.14 lakh from the next wave.
In Tamil Nadu, the most daily cases reported through the initial tide was 7,000.
It climbed to 36,000 from the next wave.
“Insufficient health infrastructure to handle this resulted in a rise in daily deaths,”” OPS stated.
