Thiruvananthapuram: The State Health Department has decided to map action plans to vaccinate all pregnant women in the state.
As part of this, it was decided that Asha workers would visit all pregnant women in their respective regions and register them to get vaccinations.
For those who do not have their own sources to register on the website, Asha workers will help them register.
All Asha workers will ensure that women registered by them receive vaccines.
In each district, separate vaccination camps will be held for women.
For this, the hospital will take care of a separate day exclusively for pregnant women.
Hospitals like that must make arrangements in such a way that pregnant women do not come into contact with other people in the hospital.
The Ministry of Health has explained that vaccination is safe for pregnant women, and therefore there are no certain periods for them to be vaccinated.
Women at each stage of pregnancy can take vaccinations.
