Vadodara: While vaccination can see big momentum throughout the country, the case is different in Vadodara.
The number of doses managed every day has been much lower since the last few days, but it goes with what is explained by Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) officials, the reason is that only a small portion of the population has not taken the first dose.
According to the figures provided by VMC, 94.58 adults in the city were vaccinated.
Of the 13.15,477 people who qualified, 12.44,212 was vaccinated.
But the target of eligible people might not be right and may actually be on the higher side as 14,46,212 registered voters for the last civilian polls.
On an average of around 12,000 doses per day earlier this month, the number now remains around 9,000 or even lower.
VMC Medial Officer (Health) Dr.
Devesh Patel said that most people who want to take Jab have done it.
“We must convince the remaining and ensure they are vaccinated,” he said.
The source says that people like that don’t know or, just don’t want to take a vaccine.
The amount may never reach 100 percent apart from insisting because it does not take vaccines, there are many who have taken vaccines when they do not meet their requirements and entries not made, said the source, adding that such vaccination takes it place in all categories until vaccination does not Opened for all adults.
Civic’s body also tried to ensure that people took a second shot on time.
