Nagpur: Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) received a covishield vaccine from the state government on Thursday night.
Vaccination of all residents over 18 years and over 45 years will be continued on Friday in government centers including all NMC centers.
Covishield will be provided free of charge to citizens in this age group.
Citizen will be vaccinated from 10am to 4pm.
Registration can be done online and offline.
At present, Covshield is available in the NMC and other government centers while Covaxin is in three centers – Government Medical College, Ambedkar Hospital Dr.
Babasaheb, Datke Prabhakarrao Hospital.

Commissioner of the city of Radhakrishnan B, on Thursday, ordered Wockhardt’s hospital to replace additional costs for the covishield vaccine they submitted from beneficiaries.
As a NMC, a private vaccination center is expected to impose the RS780 fee for covishield vaccination.
But Wockhardt Hospital was found charging RS1,050.
A citizen submits a complaint with the Ministry of Health.
Municipal Corporation issued the first notice to the hospital administration on June 24.
After not receiving a reply from the hospital administration, the Ministry of Health recently sent reminders and warned of disciplinary actions against hospitals.
After the last warning, the hospital acknowledged the mistake.
According to the hospital administration policy, RS 270 registration fee was being charged.
But now, according to the instructions of the company’s administration, the cost specified RS780 will be charged for each vaccination.
The hospital government has also clarified that those previously charged RS1,050 for vaccination would get an additional amount replaced.
