Pune: Vaccination against Covid-19 will continue with full operation in all districts from Monday.
Vaccination is closed for diwali holidays in the district.
However, several sites began to specify beneficiaries from Sunday.
District Health Officers said that in addition to resolving 100% vaccination with the first dose, the fast vaccination of the second dose will be their agenda in more than 300 sites managed by the government.
Special drives on the campuses of education, in slums and for special categories will also take steps from Monday.
Sanjay Deshmukh, Assistant Director (Medical) of Pune circles, said the first dose completion in November-end remains an important goal after breaking Diwali.
“Increasing the vaccination of the second dose recipient through micro planning is also equally important for the Ministry of Health,” he said.
Sanjay Patil, Chairman of the IMA Hospital Board in India, said that “there should be a vaccine mandate in all civil and private sectors to accelerate vaccination.
