New Delhi: India on Monday reported 1.68 fresh Covid-19 cases, swimming from the numbers the previous day due to lower testing over the weekend.
The country also reported 129 new deaths, even though the victim as a whole rose 277 due to the addition of deaths due to the previous date.
This is the fourth day in a row when the death toll was 120 or more.
Meanwhile, a top government expert said that India is expected to reach the top of the third wave immediately but the number tends to remain high for a few weeks before subsiding.
