Vadodara: 41 new covid cases, Western zones affected

Vadodara: The consistent increase in the case of Covid-19 continues in the city and district with 41 new cases reported on Friday.
The western zone of the city remains the most severely affected by 15 new cases reported there.
New cases in the city and district were identified from 6,087 tests carried out in 9 hours ending on Friday night.
These cases from Jetalpur, Bhayli, Diwaliura, Gotri, Subhanpura, Tandalja, Akota, Gokulnagar, Navapura, Shiyabaug, Savad, Chhani, Danteshwar, Manja, Sudamapuri, Fatehpura, and Manjalpur region.
After 15 cases from the western zone of the city, the South Zone reported 12 cases, the northern zone of eight cases and three in the east zone.
Three cases also appeared in the Bhayli area outside the city limits.
On Friday, 21 people were sent home from hospitals and house isolation.
The number of active cases on Friday was established in 180 against 160 on Thursday.
Of the 180 active cases, two serious requires the support of the ventilator or bipap machine.
Other nine in oxygen support.
So far, 72,734 Covid cases have been reported in the city and district.
Official data stated that 71,931 patients had been repatriated so far even in 623 had died of Covid-19.
