The official and forestry department of Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) together drives cleaning in rivers that are often often witnessed by floods during the rainy season.
However, activists plan to issue a notification to the Civic body.

We are aware that Wishwamitri is a place to live for crocodiles and many other water creatures.

Civic’s body and forest officials have conducted a three-day survey at a stretch of 16m rivers that pass through the city.
The river is home to more than 270 crocodiles.
