Vadodara: Dalit is banned from Garba, 4 held

Vadodara: Four people, including a woman, was arrested on Monday because she did not allow her dalit and her niece to participate in Garba in Pilol Village in Savli Taluka.
According to Vinod complainants, his nephew’s wife Padma and his nephew Trupti went to play Garba in their village on October 10 10.
After a few minutes, one of Parmar’s tara who was accused of asking them to leave the venue.
They allegedly said that they could not join Garba with other villagers.
Because he was insulted, Padma and Trupti left there.
However, Vinod, who was present there, tried to call Sarpanch to intervene but Sarpana did not hear Vinod.
Then, three other accused – Chhatrasinh Parmar, Mukesh Parmar and Lala Parmar – approached Vinod and threw a violation to him.
They experienced a fight when the trio told Vinod that women from their communities could not play Garba with people from their community.
Vinod went to the Savli police station and filed a complaint against Chhatrasinh, Mukesh, Lala and Tara for using obscene words.
On Monday, additional troops were deployed in the Pilol Village to ensure that the situation did not increase and spread further to neighboring villages.
