Vadodara police preparations for peaceful and safe immersion

Vadodara: Vadodara police have neavened a plan for a peaceful and early marinade of the Ganesh idol in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines on the last day of the celebration on Sunday.
Police sources said that hundreds of police including 11 deputy commissioners, 22 assistant commissioners, 80 Inspector, 156 sub-inspectors, 2,809 assistant sub-inspectors, more than 3,000 guardian house personnel and 10 companies from the State Reserve Police have been deployed for soaking Sunday .
According to police officials, 600 idols of the community and some idols installed at home will set in four artificial ponds.
Notification for traffic restrictions in various areas of the city is also issued.
Ten roads have been declared as a zone without parking and 34 roads provided for immersion procession near Mandvi, Laheripuragate, Maharani Shantadevi Junction, Lalbaugh, Kothi, Somatala, Harni-sama Link Road and Gorwa Pond will be forbidden to stab the vehicle.
“During soaking on the seventh day, we accept good cooperation from the committee, so we expect similar cooperation on Sundays too.
We have held meetings with leaders and community organizers and have asked them to complete soaking on time,” Commissioner said Shamsher Singh City Police when talking to media people on Saturday.
