Vaishali’s couple was brutally killed on a row of land

Patna: A man and his wife who is pregnant brutally killed by their relatives for land disputes in the village rarely blended under the Belsar police post in Vaishali District on Saturday.
Both were dragged out of their house and stab several times.
Their throat was also cut.
The victims were identified as Shashi Thakur (35), wholesale fruit traders, and his wife Sangeeta Devi (29).
Sangeeta is in the fifth month of his pregnancy.
The couple had two small sons in the house when the incident occurred around 6am.
Police said the dispute over the 22-Kattha ancestral land in the village rarely rampur caused twin killings.
Shashi has submitted the title title in court to claim the land.
Three close relatives of Shashi, including his cousin Harinarayan Thakur (40), was injured when they were attacked with sharp-edged objects.
Quoting the local population, Sho of Vaishali Police Station Sanjay Kumar said it was Shashi who first attacked his relatives.
“He was then attacked by his cousin and his nephew who finally killed him and his wife by stabbing them several times and slashed their throat,” he said, adding Ms.
Sangeeta, Ahilya Devi, has submitted 3 members of the Shashi family.
Sho said the bodies were thrown away at a small plot near Harinarayan’s house.
“Putra Harinarayan Sunny Thakur is the main accusation.
He avoids the arrest,” Sho added.
