NEW DELHI: The street transportation ministry has expanded the validity of automobile related records like driving license (DL), enrollment certificate (RC), fitness certification and licenses till September 30.
This is useful for many such files whose validity expired following February 1, 2020 or expires by September end.
Before, the deadline to get validity of these files had been set for June 30.
The ministry said that the decision was taken following that the pandemic scenario in various areas of the nation and to stop the spread of Covid-19.
It’s written to all countries to advise that the authorities authorities to deal with these records as legal.
“This helps taxpayers in availing transport-related solutions while preserving social distancing,” the ministry stated.
In addition, it urged the nations to apply the juvenile so that taxpayers aren’t harassed.
