Valuables worth RS 8.9L stolen from the flat of the old man

Mumbai: Gold Variables worth Rs 8.92 lakh have been lost from the senior citizen who retired from the Kuwait cellular company in 2011 and settled in Khar (West).
KN Antony (65) has named his domestic assistance, Sharad Pandit (43), a suspect in theft, who has worked with him for the past 11 years, Khar police said.
This case was registered on December 16 nearly two and-month after Antony found the valuables lost from the bag he kept in the closet.
“So far the suspect claims it has not stolen anything.
The investigation is to know, if, how the suspect managed to steal and take valuables out of the flats without the knowledge of the complainant,” police officers said.
The theft was observed on September 6 when Antony examined valuables to wear God.
In complaints, Antony said, “Every year in September I put valuables such as crowns, necklaces, bangles, etc.
on the goddess and offer prayer.
This time when I opened the closet I found valuables missing.
I even checked with I.
Domestic help denying knowing about valuables and told me that he would also help in looking for it.
“Antony did not file a complaint because he did not maintain health.
“In December he told his brother and brother when they visited Khar Flat where he remained alone.
Domestic assistance continued to work with Antony so there would be no suspicion of him,” Khar police said.
A case under the Indian Criminal Code section for 381 (theft by a servant) has been registered with Pandit.
