Coimbatore: BJP Mla Vanathi Srinivasan is marked by a special express train coimbatore-palani-coimbatore from Junction City Railway here on Wednesday.
While thanking the Ministry of Railway Union Ashwini Vaishnaw to continue the train service in the Podanur-Pollachi section after a two-year gap, he said the train would connect the city with Pollachi, Udumalpet, Animalai and Puni, among other places.
In a letter to the train minister, Coimbatore South MLA also highlighted the need to operate a daily train from the city to Madurai, Rameswaram, Thoothukudi and Nagercil Via Pollachi.tnn
