Coimbatore: The village assistant accused of attacking farmers but was described as a victim of caste and odderpalayam village administration (VAO), who supported the former, was arrested on Thursday.
But they then disappointed the station guarantee.
Police Annur said Vao, V Kalaiselvi who was 32 years old, and his assistant, Pintusamy P 16 years old booked, 294 (b) (singing, reading, or saying obscene songs, ballads, or words in or near whatever public places ), 323 (punishment because voluntarily causing illness) read with 109 (reduction punishment if the ACT that consolves committed to the consequences) of the Criminal Code.
On August 6, Muthusamy, which was included in the scheduled caste, was made to prostrate before K Godalsamy at the Odderpalayam Vao office.
After the video incident became a viral in social media, the G SS SSEANAN District collector has formed a committee led by Leela Alex District Revenue Officer to investigate the same thing.
Based on the panel report, VAO and his assistant had submitted two separate cases with the Annur police against Goperamy, after the second video, which showed Muthusamy attacked Gopalsamy, appearing on social media, VAO and his assistant was placed under the suspension.
The department’s actions were also initiated against them.
Annur police, meanwhile, tried to track the existence of men who recorded videos and circulated together on social media in two parts.
