VARANASI: 2 labourers belonging to Malda district of West Bengal were killed while six others suffered injuries in which a part of an older, dilapidated and partly demolished building fell on them at the Kashi Vishwanath Dham (corridor) region early on Tuesday morning.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sought out details of this episode by divisional commissioner Deepak Agrawal, and directed to ensure greatest possible remedy for the wounded labourers.
PSP, the building firm executing the job, also Kashi Vishwanath Temple (KVT) administration have together extended financial aid of Rs 5 lakh to the kin of every deceased.
