PANAJI: The Bombay High Court in Goa on Monday allows the state government to enable the entry of people who are fully vaccinated in Goa without the Covid-19 negative test report.
Some vaccination and non-vaccination will still have to produce a negative Covid test report to enter.
Advocate General Devidas Pangam told the court that the active case on August 29, 945, and that the level of front of it was 1.3%.
He handed over the expert committee with a unanimous voice agreed and decided that all people who had been vaccinated who had completed two weeks after their second dose must be allowed to enter the cave without negative test reports.
The High Court rejected the suggestion to wait until after the approaching celebration season.
When worries were asked about the Delta-Plus variant, the bench showed that it was a “high-powered expert committee” which had made a decision.
Pangam was also placed in front of the court of meaning “Liberal Tourism”, which by the Expert Committee, led by GMC Dean Dr.
S M Bandekar, decided to oppose permits in the current situation.
“Liberal tourism requires group activities that gather the crowd and compromise on the right Covid-19 behavior such as wearing masks, social distance and hand sanitaryization,” he submits to the High Court.
Instead, he said that non-liberal tourism requires solutions to group activities that endanger covid norms.
When asked for example, Pangam said that music shows and other activities related to tourism can fall below the definition of liberal tourism.
The expert committee also unanimously agreed and decided to explore the possibility of universal pass publishing related to the co-win portal as adopted and issued by the Maharashtra government.
