I can write and sing any song that comes in my way – whether it’s an optimistic song or soft melody.
I am not picky about the style of song that I sing.
Even so, I found myself more interested in romantic songs and I like to sing it.
In addition, people always tell me that my voice is perfect for romantic songs.
What makes you decide to pursue a career in singing?
It has been my passion since childhood.
Music is the only thing I can chase as a career, and I am very stubborn about it.
I started my career with a background score, then turned to singing.
However, composing and singing has the same weight for me.
Your song ‘Kabhi Yun Bhi’ from ‘Ishq Junon’ solves a lot of records, even getting a place in 10 list of English top music? Tell me about your experience.
I have worked for a long time in Bollywood but ‘Ishq Junon’ is my first song as a composer.
The film has a very good song and a good composer but it’s all about time and have been 5 years since then.
It was one of the best experiences because it gave me a lot of recognition and even now I feel the need to make songs that create aura.

What should you say about the current independent music scene in India?
India makes many films with many hit songs.
However, album songs have reappeared in recent years.
Now there are many songs from albums that are preferred by the audience, and social media are very important in spreading it and making it popular.
I feel independent music makes a sign in India too.
You have provided background music for movies like ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’, ‘Play Aurur Mrs.
Khanna’, among others, which is your favorite?
I was associated with background music for a long time, I helped Mr.
Sanjoy Chowdhary, which is a very prominent name in this industry.
I got the opportunity to work like ‘Ms Dhoni’, ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’, ‘Baby’, and more.
Even though I still work for people in the industry, I also take time for myself at all times.
But the best of all this is, ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’.
The movie title song was very iconic and remixed.
‘Play Aurur Mrs.
Khanna’ is the film Salman Khan and associated with it is a big problem for me.
You are very active until 2016, then you are resting until 2019.
How important is it for creative people to take leave?
While the artist may not rest, some personal details cannot be opened openly.
However, I enjoyed the moment now that many of my items will be released and I’m not sure what will happen next, because I enjoy today.
Everything depends on luck.
However, it is very important to stay engaged.
