Vadodara: The Miraculous Legendary Paint of Raja Ravi Varma was created on a canvas which called the imagination of the generation of artists and craftsmen throughout the country, and continued to inspire some decades to this day.
Among the many hands inspired are Shah’s Shah and Lavina Baldota Textile Artists who created these paintings at Khadi Sarees which is currently on display at Durbar Hall at Laxmi Vilas Palace.

Twenty artists have recreated Varma paintings on Jamdani Saree through weaving and intricate threads and threads dyed in more than 600 vegetable dye.
