PALGHAR: Vanas-Virar City Municipal Corporation (VVCMC) in Palghar District of Maharashtra has reported 56 deaths because of Coronavirus in one day, which is 50 percent of the total number of deaths one day recorded in the Mumbai circle, the official data has revealed.
According to the information published in the Maharashtra government dashboard, this death was recorded on Wednesday.
The state reported 286 Coronavirus deaths during the day, where 112 was reported in the Mumbai circle of the Health Division.
Vasai-Virar just recorded 56 deaths, which were half of the number of deaths in a circle.
Apart from VVCMC, death recorded in several other urban areas in the Mumbai circle that day was the city of Mumbai (six), Thane City (three), Navi Mumbai (two), Kalyan-Dompivli (one), Mira Bhayandar (one)), Palghar rustic (two), Raigad (32) and Panvel (two).
The death toll of Covid-19 in the state until Wednesday night was 1.32.145, with the Mumbai circle recorded 34,258 of this death, data was revealed.
Of the number of state infections 62,82,914, the Mumbai circle contributed 16,37,744 cases, he said.
