VASCO: The Core Committee of the State Task Force for Disease Control of Described Vector Following up on location inspections in Vaddem and New Vaddem in Vasco to take stock of land situations in the case of suspected dengue fever.
During site inspections, the team identified deviations in accordance with the various actions and rules of the Ministry of Manpower and violations of conditions placed in the Certificate and License of the objection issued by the Mormagao Municipal Board and urban health centers.
The team also noticed that advisors spent on controlling the disease borne by vectors was not followed due to the lack of proper coordination by site supervisors at the construction site.
In the residential area households failed to examine the stagnation of water so as to allow the breeding of mosquito reports of observations at the location of the inspection and related recommendations to be submitted by the core committee to various government institutions in the district and state level.
Action plans based on site inspection recommendations will be compiled by the Directorate of Health Services’ (DHS) of the Borne Vector Disease Control Program (NVBDCP).
