Hyderabad: To achieve 100% inoculation, the government will take the Covid-19 vaccination drive specifically in Hyderabad and Secunderabad Cantonment larger for 15 days, starting August 23.
Somesh Kumar’s main secretary said the special drive would cover 4,846 colonies and slums at the GHMC limit and 360 regions at the Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB).
Kumar directs the Commissioner of GHMC Lokesh Kumar and the health department official to make settings for special drives.
He said 175 cellular vaccine vehicles – 150 in GHMC and 25 in Cantonment – will be deployed.
Each vehicle will have two vaccinators and data entry operators.
The GHMC commissioner will issue award certificate to the Resident Welfare Association that successfully resolves 100 percent vaccination.
