Jaipur: The State Health Department on Friday received 8,48,630 vaccine doses that would accelerate vaccination from Saturday and so on.
This happens the day after the center has increased the allocation for the country and promised to provide 96 doses of the country’s lakh vaccine.
The Ministry of Health has maintained that if vaccination continues at the same speed, in five to six months, vaccination must be resolved.
On Friday, 1.31,232 beneficiaries of each category received their jab in 106 covishield sessions and 19 covaxin sessions in the state.
