Two videos, which are widely distributed on social media, shows two women – in separate incidents in Ballari and Vijayanagar district on Thursday – forcefully remembering shots after the efforts of villagers, Asha workers and nurses to take the shot failed.

The health service team went to the door-to-door at Mariyammanahalli, the Vijayanagar district to manage shots.
The woman refused and the video showed she cried and hugged Asha worker.
The team spent an hour trying to persuade him to take a shot.
When they failed, the video showed that the female friends held it when they gave a dose.
In a similar incident in Raravi Village, Shiraguppa Taluk in the Ballari district, an old woman refused to take a kick for fear on the needle.
The villagers tried to convince the woman, but he refused.
Finally, two villagers held him back, and health workers gave Jab even when he kicked and screamed.
“There is rigid resistance to shots in several rural areas.
Such cases need a lot of time,” said a health worker.
