KOLKATA: Over 200 Kolkatans drove to the car park of a south Kolkata mall and got blasted Friday, seated within their own vehicles.
‘Drive-in Legislation’, the special initiative flagged off in Quest Theater on Friday, has been encouraged by KMC, that will be supplying the vaccines as well as the vaccinators.
Thirty-year-old Avik Mondal drove his parents 67-year-old Amal Kumar and 62-year-old Lipika — to the jab in Quest on Friday.
“I was wary of carrying them into a busy hospital or even a government practice.
A buddy told me and I instantly got my parents enrolled.
It was really smooth and professionally organized,” said Avik, including he wanted he could find the jab, also.
However, the Quest programme is just for the 45-plus age-group.
Schoolteacher Joy Banerjee and his spouse Anindita Mukherjee drove Quest at about 11 am and over the following half-an-hourthey had attained the Treaty corner on the bottom floor.

As per a KMC health department , approximately 350 have been administered the first dose of Covishield on Friday.
“Seeing a jostle to attain our mobile practice, we chose to extend Legislation hours and from 3pm, we can attend 350 recipients,” the civic officer said.
