Lucknow: More than 2,000 people have been sick due to transmitted diseases through vectors in Uttar Pradesh, according to official data distributed here on Sunday.
It states that the government is in the alert mode to fight and control mosquito infectious diseases such as dengue and chikungunya, an official statement says that public support is very important to prevent the spread of diseases transmitted through vectors.
“Supervisory campaigns throughout the state, including spraying anti-larval chemicals under extensive mass-scale sanitation, fogging and cleanliness drives, have been launched to ensure that no life lost from mosquitoes borne,” the official statement said.
To note, Yogi Adityanath leads the government increases preventive measures against diseases transmitted through water and diseases transmitted by vectors after reports of mysterious fever killing children and adults in some Western districts reported.
CM ordered the highlevel probe which showed that the culprit was dengue fever.
While monitoring hours in the affected districts were ordered, alert to cross-country heard.
The Campaign of Prevention of Mani Surveillance was also launched.
