Lucknow: More than 2,000 people have been sick due to transmitted diseases through vectors in Uttar Pradesh, according to official data distributed here on Sunday.
It states that the government is in the alert mode to fight and control mosquito infectious diseases such as dengue and chikungunya, an official statement says that public support is very important to prevent the spread of diseases transmitted through vectors.
“Supervisory campaigns throughout the state, including spraying anti-larval chemicals under extensive mass-scale sanitation, fogging and cleanliness drives, have been launched to ensure that no life lost from mosquitoes borne,” the official statement said.
