Udaipur: A 41-year-old man has been arrested by Udaipur police for allegedly killing a 57-year-old woman at her residence.
The police received a report that the victim, Trivedi Snehlata was found dead at his residence in the Hiran Magri area on July 19.
The incident was revealed when one of the relatives visited him at night.
The defendant was identified as Rajkumar Joshi, a vegetable vendor.
According to Rajeev Pachar SP, Udaipur, the defendant had a criminal record before.
He was jailed for 10 years in a case related to Spanish tourist rape in 2000 but became a teenager later, he was later released.
The defendant worked as a medical officer before the Kuncian and also served the victim’s husband when he was ridden.
After locking, the defendant was unemployed and began selling vegetables in the area.
Knowing that the old woman used to stay alone at home after her husband’s death, she visited her.
The defendant called the woman, because he was known to him, he called him in the house and offered him water.
He tried to loot valuables and when he opposed, he pushed him with a towel on his neck and hit his head on the wall.
After killing him, he escaped with jewelry, cash and cellular.
Police, after a detailed crime investigation, identified the defendant and arrested him from the Ghantaghar area after a long chase.
