Velachhery Serial Robbery Case: The suspect was found killed

Chennai: Burglar, involved in a series of theft in Velachery, killed in a drunk fight by his friends in Chengalpet.
The police have collected CCTV camera snippets and tracked other thieves involved.
The police conducted a thorough examination at the residence of the deceased, Dinesh aka ‘Ottai’ Dinesh, 35, in Kamarajar Puram in Selaiyur and seized a stolen laptop and several silver ornaments.
Velachery police were on the Line of Dinesh after five complaints separated from the sixth and seventh population in King Lakshmi Nagar on July 23.
The police said the thief stole? 50,000 silver ornaments and equipment, apart from laptops from these houses and escape.
In one incident, Muruganantham, a resident, has gone to his relatives’ house when the thieves hit.
One tenant Muruganantham noticed the main door lock was broken and warned Muruganantham.

After the theft series, Deputy Commissioner Adyar Police V Vikraman ordered a team to arrest the perpetrators.
The team collected CCTV camera footage from nearby shops and residences.
Two police officers were dedicated to monitoring recording and zero to the suspect.
A police officer said, “The camera footage is unclear.
However, the team monitors the suspects, who disappeared after entering Kamarajar Puram in the Selaiyur region.” Meanwhile, the police examined the record for repeat violators and found that some thieves had come out of prisons recently this.
One of them, Dinesh, was also involved in several break-ins in Kamarajar Puram near Selaiyur.
That’s when the police looked for his house just to realize that he had been killed by his friends during a fight near Chengalpet Taluk a day after theft in Velachery.
The police sought a suspect to escape.
