Ludhiana: Ludhiana police on Thursday arrested a man because of shooting a vend manager of liquor in the Sufiyan Bagh area on Wednesday night.
The defendant was identified as Harvinder Singh Virk, who worked as a collection of inches incients vends liquor.
Police officials said the defendant had gone to raise cash from a liquor vend managed by Harvinder Kumar from Hoshiarpur in the Sufiyan Bagh area.
They said the defendant acted in a way of governing and asked the Vend manager to give him cash in a certain way, which caused an argument between the duo.
They added that even though the defendant left the place, he immediately returned a private car.
He again signed a heated argument and then opened fire on the Vend manager.
Police officials said the bullet passed the victim’s calf muscle.
They added that the defendant then escaped from the place.
Then, Kumar was taken to the hospital by the audience.
The police were also informed about this problem he said the defendant was arrested on Thursday afternoon and his gun was found that they added that the defendant had licensed Tarn Taran weapons while he belonged to Sangrur.
The police were investigating how he got a license, police said.
