‘Very painful’ over the opposition MPS pelted paper in a chair, said Lok Sabha Speaker

New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said on Thursday he was “very painful” for several opposition members who threw paper to chairs the day before and warned of crackdown against those who were repeatedly involved in the incident.
When the paper was placed at home on Wednesday, members of the Gurjeet Aujala Congress, T n Prathapan, Eden Hibi and several others threw their business papers today and pieces of torn paper and placards.
A piece of torn placard landed in the press gallery right on the speaker podium.
As soon as the house convened on Thursday, Birla said, “I was very hurt to the incident that happened on July 28.
The paper that pelted a chair, ignored the seat was not in line with the practice of parliamentary.” If you don’t take care of parliamentary practice, then how will the parliamentary process strengthen? My business is that all members get adequate time to improve their problems and give them their respect.
“He asked if Wednesday’s incident was in line with parliamentary practice?” I will urge members that such actions are not in line with the parliamentary process …
such incidents should not be repeated.
If such an incident is repeated, then I will need your cooperation.
I will take a hard step towards members like that so that we can maintain parliamentary dignity, “said Birla.
The opposition parties have performed protests for Pegasus’s controversy lurking controversy, agricultural law and other problems.” We consider this (Lok Sabha) as a democratic temple.
It also gives a sense of confidence that the chair will do justice for everyone and still impartial.
If there are questions related to the chair, you can tell me in the room.
I will try to accept your advice to maintain the dignity of the chair.
But we must collectively decide how we increase the dignity of the house, “said Birla.
