Patna: The city continues to witness “very bad” air quality for the second day in a row on Monday by rising in pollutants such as particles (PM) 10 and PM2.5 in the air.
The air quality index (AQI) level stood in 301 on Monday due to a quiet wind, fog fog and other meteorological conditions that were not profitable for dispersion of pollutants in the air.

According to the center pollution control body (CPCB) bulletin, aqi overall 301 for patna is the average AQI level at DRM Office-Khagaul (363), eco park (356), bit-intimate, planetarium (350), planetarium (347), SK Memorial Hall (281) and Patna City (108).

Ankita Jyoti, senior program officers at the Center for Environmental and Energy Development, said the minimum temperature had declined by some notches in Patna, which led to air pollution.
