Mangaluru: Former Minister of Union and Members of Rajya Saba, Oscar Fernandes died in a private hospital in Mangaloru on Monday.
He was 80.
Fernandes suffered an injury after he fell ill while doing routine exercises and being treated at Yenepoya Hospital here on July 19.
The leader of the Veteran Congress has lost its balance while doing the push-up wall and crashing into a wall.
It was found that he had a lump in the brain, after he went to the hospital where he was undergoing dialysis.
He had told the doctor that he had often experienced a headache after falling down.
Medical examination detects lumps in his brain, sources close to their families say.
