Nagpur: Ramesh Shankar Ambaikar, a looming figure at the Amateur Theater Marathi-Hindi Nagpur and the National Repute Director, died after a brief disease on August 23.
He is 79 years old.
Ambikar in the legendary Legendary Darvestar Purushottam League, who pioneered ‘Ranjan Kala Mandir’ in Nagpur, one of the great theater groups of all time in Maharashtra.
Ambaikar worked as Director of the Ranjan Trademark in the post-darvest era and maintained the generation of actors, writers, and directors.
He left his wife, two sons, and a number of brothers to lament losses.
The last rite was carried out in Mokshadham on Monday.
Ambikar, who retired from the Reserve Bank of India, continued his relationship with the theater during his work and also after retirement.
He directed many award-winning marathi and Hindi game for the Maharashtra State Theater Festival.
Apart from the competition, playing by great writers such as PL Deshpande, Jaywant Dalvi, Mahesh Elkrunchwar, and CT Khanolkar who were directed by Ambaikar who was still remembered as a milestone in an amateur theater.
Theater lovers and activists pay for ridicule to Ambaikar on Monday.
