VETS Call Off Strike After Guarantee from Min Sunil Kedar

Nagpur: Veterinary Paramedics, which agitation staging for the past three months for their various demands, and was forced to strike from August 1 finally decided to continue the work from August 5.
This will continue the most important annual livestock vaccination, goats and other animals held in the rainy season.
“Our delegation held a meeting with the Minister of Health of Sunil Kedar earlier this week in Mumbai.
The Minister has assured us to fulfill all our demands in a gradual way.
Important demand for promotion is immediately fulfilled on August 5,” said Dr.
Pawan Bhagwat, Treasurer of the Association of Veterinary Practitioners Association Country.
“A 121 veterinarian who works as a livestock supervisor throughout the state has been promoted into an assistant post for livestock development officers.
The order was issued on Thursday,” he added.
As a diploma veterinarian and the certificate holder does not work, farmers in this country face many problems.
These doctors work on the ground and maintain the health of livestock in rural areas.
There are around 4,500 such livestock supervisors in the state.
They claim that they have the same skills as holders degrees and must be given promotions after getting a relevant experience.
