Bhubaneswar: The state state government plans to start physical classes for class VI and VII after the Diwali vacation, said Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash.
So far, the government has started a physical class for class VIII to XII in phase.
But many parents are reluctant to send their children to schools before they are vaccinated.
“We plan to continue the physical class for junior students gradually.
First students VI and VII will be allowed to attend the class following the Covid guidelines.
If everything goes well, then we will reopen the class for class I students to V,” said Dash.
The minister said in accordance with the operating procedure of the Physical Class Government Standards for class VIII to XII will run smoothly in the state.
The same SOP will be followed for students of class VI and VII too.
“It is very difficult to explain the social distance for class I and II students.
Because Covid cases have fallen substantially, we hope it will be safe for children to come to school for a longer period.
Bad Impact on Children, “Add Dash.
The minister, however, expressed hope that schools for all classes will be reopened in the new year.
