New Delhi: Venkaiiah Naidu vice president on Tuesday stated sadness over the deaths of leading academics and Koneru Ramakrishna Rao philosophers.
Rao died of the age-related disease in Visakhapatnam Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday, the family source said.
He is 89 years old.

He described Rao, the recipient of Padma Shri in 2011, as a multi-faceted person who held various positions, including the representative of the Chancellor of the University of Andhra, Chair of the Andhra Pradesh Komision of Higher Education and Deputy Chairperson of the State Planning Andhra Pradesh Board.
“His invaluable contribution to the field of education and thought of Gandhian is the source of inspiration for many people,” said the vice president.
“His death is a personal loss for me.
I expressed the deepest condolences to family members who grieve.
