Patna: The video recently circulated has turned on a two-year-old gang rape case in the Gopalganj Bihar district after one of the defendants suspected of leaking after learning that the victim will get married soon.
In accordance with the police, the accused young people have been identified as Abhishek Sharma, Dipu Dubey, Nitesh Dubey, then Thakur and Lalji Sharma, all aged between 20 and 25 years.
The police said and Lalji shifted abroad while working in a country in the Middle East.
The police said that the video rape was leaked by Abhishek who had a relationship with the girl.
The police said that the victim was almost not 16 years old when the incident took during Chhath in a village under the Kateya police station area.
A special investigation team (sitting) has been formed by Gopalganj Supervisors from Police (SP) Anand Kumar to arrest the three defendants still hid in the state.
SP said that FIR in connection with the incident was registered at the Kateya Police Station against five young men on Monday based on the girl’s written complaint.
“Sitting will accuse three accused as soon as possible who was in the gopalganj but escape as soon as they learned that the problem had reached the police,” he added.
“The remaining four were accused of capturing the couple in an unpleasant situation and raped him taking advantage of the situation.
The girl chose to remain silent and not approach the police,” he said.
He said the girl would get married but Abhishek extorted it to marry her instead.
“The girl ignored it.
He then leaked the video with a motive to cancel his marriage.
Prilegnant after knowing about his virgin video, the girl went to Abhishek’s house and told him that he would approach the police,” he said.
The girl then filed FIR against five accused, including Abhishek.
“His actions went to Abhishek’s house warned who was accused of another after that they fled,” he said.
Police said the arrest of two overseas jobs would take time because they needed to be deported to India first.
“The SP will write to the State Police Headquarters against them from which the Interior Ministry (MHA) will be informed.
The Ministry of External Affairs will be contacted afterwards.
Our Embassy in the country concerned will be told who will contact the government in the country to deport the duo to India, “he said.
