Faridabad: Three men, armed with Palu and Rods, attacked a young man at Badkal Chowk Faridabad who was busy in Haryana on Monday morning when the crowd watched but did not intervene.
Some have to resign as one of the defendants fired two-three shots in the air and threatened people who had gathered in a place with terrible consequences.
According to witnesses, all three were accused of being santro hit Mukesh, who was on a bicycle, from behind.
When he slipped and fell on the road, his three got out of the car and began to hit him in his hands and feet.
Videos recorded on cellphones by people in the crowd immediately began making social media rounds.
One video showed a man who tried to stop the trio from hitting Mukesh, but backwards as one of them fired a shot in the air.
All three were accused of being identified by police as Pradeep, Lalit and Sachin, all of them from Faridabad.
“We tried to intervene, but they threatened us with a gun.
Even though a crowd had gathered, no one could stop the trio from hitting the man.
When the police arrived, one of them managed to escape.
The other two were arrested,” said a witness .
While Pradeep and Lalit were arrested, Sachin managed to give the police slip.
Mukesh rushed to a private hospital, where he underwent treatment.
Police said the attack on Mukesh was the impact of old hostility.
Last year, Mukesh had attacked Yogesh’s Pradeep brother and made him seriously injured.
Mukesh was charged with trying to kill and be in prison for about a year.
In April this year, he came out with a guarantee.
The source said he worked in a company owned by Janata’s Bharatiya Party relatives.

The three men have been ordered under 307 (murder attempts) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) IPC and the relevant provisions of the arms law.
