Thiruvananthapuram: The government has ordered an investigation of the benefits of complaints raised against the leader of the K Sudhakaran Congress, who was involved in a verbal duel with the head of Pinarayi Vijayan immediately after taking over as the KPCC president.
Director (Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau) Sudesh Kumar has ordered a preliminary investigation into the complaints submitted by the former driver of Sudhakanan Prasanthan Babu.
Probes will be carried out by SP (vigilance), the Kozhikode unit.
The complainants alleged that Sudhakanan had gathered a lot of wealth through several businesses.
The complainants alleged that Sudhakan tried to take ownership of high school in Chirakkal in Kannur after buying it on behalf of Karunakan Trust.
