Vijay Hazare: UP suffers 2nd consecutive defeat

Kanpur: Uttar Pradesh suffered the second consecutive defeat at Vijay Hazare Trophy on Thursday because Jharkhand spelled them with 8 goals at Maharaja Yadvendra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mohali.
UP previously lost their first match against Saurashtra on Wednesday.
Jharkand Mohd Nazim’s opening was a match hero because of a good knock of 116 runs and 131 running the Wicket partnership with IR Jaggi helped them register victory.
UP was asked to stick first when they posted a score of 239 for 7 in 50 overs.
Rinu Singh once again appeared as the highest scorer when he reached 104 running in 98 balls, including 11 limits and two six.
Captain Karan Sharma and Sameer Chaudhary also contributed each of 34 and 36.
Up has lost half of their side at 95 Run, but Rinu and Sameer Chaudhary built a 108 partnership to walk to the 6th goal.
For Jharkhand, Rahul Shukla and Varun Aaron pocketed 3 and 2.
Chasing the target, Jaggi and Nazim executed 131 to run the partnership for the first goal.
Jaggi supports the nazim from the other end very well and he scored 32 runs.
Nazim destroyed 15 limits and 4 six in the innings.
Utarsh Singh played a 57 unbeaten knock and finished the formality of victory with Captain of Virat Singh.
