There were just two firsts for Vikrant Massey as it came to shooting his forthcoming job, Mumbaikar.
The movie isn’t just his initial stint with National Award-winning cinematographer-filmmaker Santosh Sivan, but it has also proven to be his very first experience of coping with a film team from the South picture market.
Speaking about it, Vikrant explained,”That is actually the very first time that I’ve worked with a group which hails from the South.
Their job culture is unquestionably distinct from ours.
I have to say, they’re extremely punctual (laughs!) .
On the very first day of the fire , I had been late by 20 minutes.
The roster timing was 6.
30pm and I received a phone at 6.
25pm stating they were prepared.
This has been a lesson learnt for me personally ”
The Chhapaak celebrity also lauded the preparation and the speed in which the movie had been taken.
“They’re really well-prepared using their pre-production work.
They see that they don’t squander their money and time.
In addition, they are rather fast-paced.
There are times when you’re scheduled to take for 12 hoursbut you’re finished in eight hours,” explained Vikrant, including,”I’m glad with this undertaking, I must experience how they work, particularly beneath a maestro such as Santosh sir, whose movies I’ve grown up seeing”
