Ghaziabad / Noida: Only 42 of the 76 health centers planned in Ghaziabad are currently functioning because no one dips public health workers (Chos).
In Noida, there are 61 health and fitness centers, including 35 at the sub-center level, and among them, 26 do not have Chos.
These sub-centers are the first health care points in the village and family planning, counseling sessions, routine immunization programs and Ante-Christmas inspections are planned at this facility.
Some centers also conduct procedures such as copper insertion IUDs, as part of the family planning drive.
Under the NHM, the health worker gets a six-month bridge course that appears for the exam before being chosen as Chos.
The government has planned to increase the sub-centers that focus on maternal and child health for health and health centers and in Ghaziabad, the target is to increase the number of facilities to 76 to 2020-21 fiscal.
But only 42 operations.

He added that there were also around 128 sub-centers managed by local levels of health.
