Yavatmal: White of the 24-year-old school, who aspires to build his own helicopter, died after one of the rotor blades from the helicopter, he was testing, breaking and slashing his throat in Fulsawangi Village at Mahagaon Tehsil on Tuesday night.
Sheikh who died Ismail Sheikh Ibrahim had stopped going to school while in STD 8 and began working in the Gas Gas Brother Mussavir welding workshop and mastered the art of making almirah, coolers and other household articles with steel sheets and aluminum.

“Inspired by the character of Rancho in the ‘3 Idiot’ film, Ismail wants to do something unique and therefore decides to build a helicopter in the village.
After gathering information about the design and assembly by watching Youtube videos, he began working on his dream project.
It took almost two years Ismail to collect all the necessary parts.
He also prepared a single seater helicopter prototype by welding the steel pipe and installed the Maruti 800 engine to turn it on, “said his friend Sachin Ubale.
“Ismail wants to show the helicopter to the public about the independence day of this year and he decided to test the engine near his workshop.
On Tuesday night, he occupied the pilot chair and started the engine when some of his friends watched amazes,” Ubale said.
While everyone was happy when the rotor wing began to move quickly, the assembly of the tail rotor knife was tricked by the body and crashed into the main knife above.
“Even before someone can understand what happened, a broken knife piece cutting Ismail’s throat and he fainted to the ground,” Ubale said.
Those who watched the trial hurriedly helped Ismail who was very bloody and he was immediately taken to the hospital in the Pusad.
However, he breathed his last before medical assistance could be given.
“He often tested his helicopter function.
Previously, he managed to lift the 5-foot helicopter on the ground.
It was his last trial on Tuesday,” said another friend Ismail, Harish.
“He used to wear a helmet and headphones every time he tested the helicopter.
But on a decisive night, he didn’t use both,” Harish added.
Ismail has named his flying machine ‘Helicopter Munna’, Munna is his nickname.

Ismail was cremated on Wednesday before a large number of villagers.
“The police have brought Ismail’s brother and three friends to the police station for further investigation.
