Patna: Minister of Tourism and leader BJP Putra and Narayan Prasad’s brother was hit by villagers in the West Champaran district on Sunday for allegedly open fire in the air to frighten a group of children who play cricket in the ministerial garden.
The incident occurred in Hardiya Koeri Teach Village under the Muffasil police station area.
The villagers also seize vehicles where ‘ministers, tourism departments’ are written on NumberPlate.
The incident video became a virus where the son of the minister, Bablu Kumar, could be seen destroyed by the villagers.
Police said the villagers also grabbed the gun from the Bablu which he used to scare children.
According to the villagers, the problem was broken when the Bablu went there with his supporters and asked children to leave the agriculture and agricultural land nearby.
Bablu allegedly thrashed several children and also took out their weapons and fired a shot to scare children.
WEST Camparan SP Upendra Verma said the Bablu was accompanied by Uncle Harendra Prasad, Vijay’s manager was legitimate and other colleagues.
All of them suffered injuries in clashes.
The minister accused summarizing to the police that he went to agricultural land with his men after learning about the efforts of “land encroachment”.
He said they were attacked and robbed of a licensed gun by villagers.
Their vehicle was also damaged by villagers.
However, the Minister accused the villagers trying to break his land in the garden.
He said the villagers first attacked his younger brother who had objected to encroachment of land by locals, after which several other family members were also destroyed.
“After my family members were beaten by the villagers, my child went to a place with a licensed and gun pistol, but he was also attacked with rocks.
The villagers also harm my vehicle,” Minister said to reporters.
RJD opposition attacked the government Kumar Nithish for the incident.
“Do minister’s sons have the right to attack children who play cricket? There is no law and order in Bihar.
When the ministers destroy the law, then who will enforce it in the state,” asked the former RJD MLA Singh Yadav.
