COIMBATORE: greater than 50 villagers staged a road roko before a primary health center (PHC) in Arisipalayam about the outskirts of Coimbatore on Friday morning requiring they are issued tokens for vaccination.
Many villagers were awaiting vaccination in the PHC because 4am.
The PHC personnel informed them they could be vaccinated about 9am.
They informed the villagers they had been awaiting the birth of vaccine and could issue tokens depending on the amount of doses that they receive.
On the other hand, the villagers insisted upon the team devoting the tokens and stumbled upon the street in the front of the PHC requiring exactly the same.
The Madukkarai police hurried to the place and held discussions with the general public.
The authorities advised them to distribute.
The villagers told the authorities they would wait close to the PHC before the vaccine came.
Approximately five cops were set up at Arisipalayam.
