Greater Noida: Residents of Nagla Village Law Singh Off Yamuna Expressway has demanded reassaling the second phase limit of the Noida International Airport project.
Near 250 villagers gathered in Karuli Bangar Intercollege during public hearings on Tuesday morning to register their protests against their eternal acquisition (housing).
However, they expressed their willingness to hand over agricultural land for the second stage of the airport project.
In their written representatives to the District Administration and the sixth team of Gautam Buddhist University entrusted with the work of carrying out a social impact assessment study, the population also demanded the status of their eternal land with Lal Dora (Red Line) property in Delhi neighbors.
Nagla Law Singh has a population of around 3,000 to 3,500 individuals and is part of Karauli Bangar gram Sabha.
Located nearly 350 to 400 meters from Yamuna Expressway and has come under the second stage of the airport project.
“We clearly told the administration that we would not move from our eternal region.
We are also ready to surrender our farm field.
But we have demanded compensation of Rs 4,000 for SQM.
We have opposed the idea of resettlement and remember it in writing,” said Devendra Singh Rana from the village.
Teafirt Sub-Division Judges, Rajni Kant said, “The demands of the villagers have been recorded.
The proposal to revise the alignment of the second stage limit has been sent to a higher authority.
We will share feedback that has been collected during public hearing with senior officials.”
